Welcome to (GP-LOUD-00) The Nighthunt Lodge, an introductory D&D adventure set in Grayvale, a wild and wonderful area of the Forgotten Realms on the southeastern border of the Savage Frontier. During the adventure, the characters are tasked with stopping a barrage of attacks on Grayvale Run. Rumors around Loudwater will lead them to The Nighthunt Lodge where they meet some strange travelers who help shed some light on their investigation.

New Players Welcome!

Now for those that are coming who have not played at one of my tables your character will start at level one. If you have already played at my table and have a character from a previous game you can play with that one or make a new one it is your choice.
If you are making a new character, you can make your character ahead of time and bring it to the event. I am going to outline the rules below.
· All characters start at 1st level.
· No Neutral Evil or Chaotic Evil alignments.
· All races in the Player’s Handbook (PHB) and Basic Rules (BR) are allowed.
· All Classes and Backgrounds in the Player’s Handbook (PHB) and Basic Rules (BR) are allowed.
· Ability Scores you have three options
a. Three Standard Arrays: (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8 ) (15, 15, 15, 8, 8, 8 ) or (13, 13, 13, 12, 12, 12)
b. Variant: Customizing Ability Scores: (PHB pg 13 or BR pg 10)
c. Random Ability Rolls: Six 4D6 rolls keep the three highest. 
*This option can only be taken once during a one-hour character creation time before the game begins. If you do not like the numbers rolled you can choose to do one of the two options above.
· All characters start at maximum hit points per their class and afterward accrue according to average numbers as described in Class Features.
· Starting equipment is determined by your character’s class and background.

The Forgotten Realms campaign setting has too many options to list them all above for character creation and I wish to keep this outline simple for everyone.
