Ahmed Hegazy

Professor
Champlain Saint-Lambert
Business

With over two decades of experience in higher education, I have taught and conducted research in the Middle East, the UK, and Canada, specializing in business and marketing at both undergraduate and graduate levels. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Stirling and am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).

Alongside my academic work, I bring hands-on business experience and serve as a professional coach, allowing me to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Earlier in my career, I worked as a marketing coordinator and market researcher for leading companies in the Middle East, gaining practical insights into consumer behavior, strategic planning, and market dynamics. This combination of academic and industry experience enables me to deliver relevant, real-world learning experiences.

Since 2020, I’ve actively supported startups through coaching and instruction, particularly in collaboration with public educational institutions and community-based organizations. I work closely with aspiring entrepreneurs to help them develop and validate their business ideas, conduct effective market research, and design sustainable business plans. Several of my students have gone on to win top awards in startup competitions—an achievement that reflects both their dedication and the practical, hands-on approach we take to entrepreneurial training. I also hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, which enhances my ability to teach process improvement, operational efficiency, and value-driven business strategy.
