🌟 About Me: Throughout my career and academic journey, I've harnessed my knowledge, expertise, and research skills to assist organizations in understanding human diversity, intercultural communication and the elements that can bridge cultural gaps. I'm passionate about enabling organizations to embrace diversity and foster true inclusivity in practical, tangible ways.
🎓 Holding a Ph.D. from the distinguished Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, Canada, I've had the privilege of conducting research in the Organizational Behaviour field. My current research passions revolve around cultural variations in attitudes and behavioural communications, mainly focusing on minority populations. I employ qualitative data and research tools to identify specific interaction challenges and advocate for solutions that drive the implementation of equity, diversity, and inclusion practices in different organizational contexts.
👨🏫 I've served as a Part-time Assistant Professor at Telfer Management School, where I've had the opportunity to teach cross-cultural management and sustainability training courses. In addition, each semester, I actively supported funded research projects as a Research Associate, furthering my commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion. I also served as a Teaching Associate for numerous undergraduate courses in the management field.
🌎 Before my journey at Telfer, I collaborated with Professor Dr. Tarek El Badawy at Auburn University at Montgomery, Alabama, USA. Our collaborative efforts resulted in several published papers addressing topics relevant to the workplace.
📚 My academic pathway began in Egypt, earning my Master's degree in 2014 from the German University in Cairo. At that time, my research addressed stereotypes, prejudices, and discriminatory acts against carriers of the Hepatitis C virus in the Egyptian workplace.
These experiences enriched me with valuable transferable skills, including problem-solving, project management, qualitative research and analysis, effective written and verbal communication (including academic writing), and the ability to thrive in collaborative and diverse environments.

In all organizations past events, even if they are unique or at least very unlikely to recur, have strength beyond their ambition. In terms of NCA Theory they have persistent influence and therefore are durable actors in the network regardless of the presence of human actors who had direct experience. The crisis in education of March 2020 will never unenroll from our network of management education. As a result, it will resonate in institutional choices, individuals' decisions and forever ...

We live in a world that emphasize the rational and the objective. We cling dearly to objective facts, rigorous thought and rational decisions. In doing so, we risk losing sight of the internal world and our emotional and intuitive aspects. Understanding our “inner theatre” is essential, but also an uphill challenge, fraught with difficulties and anxieties. In this conversation, Manfred F. R. Kets de Vries explores the essential need to build self-understanding and the difficulty in doing so.
During 2020, the pandemic revealed that topics like care, gender, and vulnerable populations should be addressed seriously. Feminist economists see an opportunity to restructure the economy based on the idea of “care” and not on “profit”. Women as subjects have been particularly harmed during this health crisis, due to the precariousness of their work (most women are in service industries), or because of the burden of care work at home. Dr. Rupa Banerjee proposes to discuss the trajectorie...
Please join Gerard Seijts, Executive Director of the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership and Matt Quin, Director of Ivey Publishing for a conversation about developing ethical leadership and character. The discussion will examine the current state of leadership from a 360-degree perspective, the opportunity and need to incorporate principled character in curriculum, and the impact of crisis management in business and society in these unprecedented times.
In this session Dr. Jamie Gruman will discuss his book 'Boost: The Science of Recharging Yourself in an Age of Unrelenting Demands', which builds on the literature on recovery and focuses on how we can get back to our best by flipping our downtime into ‘Uptime’ to most successfully recharge our batteries and return to work happier, healthier, and more productive. He will present his ReNU model, which synthesizes the research behind Boosting, and will discuss specific activities we can impl...
