Cantor Yvon F. Shore is the Director of Liturgical Arts and Music at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati. For 15 years, she has cultivated a required t'filah and ritual development program designed to empower rabbinical students' vision towards their future rabbinate. Cantor Shore is the founder and past president of the ARZA Cantorial Council, an organization dedicated to support a global liberal cantorate. She has served on the URJ's Commission for Worship and Religious Living, and the executive boards of the American Conference of Cantors and the World Union for Progressive Judaism. Along with all things Jewish music, Cantor Shore sings with the prestigious May Festival Chorus (MFC) & select Basilica Ensemble. Established in 1873, the MFC is the oldest choral festival in the North America and the chorus of the Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestra.
