Rabbi Greengrass believes the goal of Judaism is to become a better person, live a more meaningful life, and flourish as a human being. She envisions a Jewish community serving as an engine of meaning and purpose in people's lives and a home for spiritual and intellectual nourishment. Rabbi Greengrass is deeply committed to, and inspired by, the holy work of tikkun olam. She is a warm and compassionate pastoral presence. Greengrass is devoted to conveying the wealth and varying perspectives of our tradition with seriousness, openness, warmth and awe. She was ordained from Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion in New York in 2008. She holds a Masters of Arts in Hebrew Literature (HUC), a Masters of Religious Education (HUC) and is a certified PREPARE counselor for per-marital and marriage counseling. In 2011, she was granted the title of Reform Jewish Educator (RJE) by the Reform Jewish Educator Title Granting Commission. She is the Vice President of the board of the Rabbinic Association of Greater Miami and serves on the CCAR response committee as well as various committees through the Religious Action Center. She is a Balfour-Brickner Fellow and a member of Rabbis Without Boarders. Her words, both spoken and written, have been published in a far range of mediums, from the Miami Herald to Time magazine. Her poetry has been published as well as featured on Jewish source websites such as ritualwell.com.
