I am a Professor at Wright State University and program director of our Graduate Program in Chemical Dependency. I work closely with agencies dealing with those in the Miami Valley who are devastated by the opioid epidemic. My project involves providing recovery support services to help individuals rebuild their lives from the early stages of their recovery all the way through. I include my students in projects like this whenever possible so they experience "hands-on" learning.
