Jason Kalman Ph.D.

Jason Kalman is Professor of Classical Hebrew Literature and Interpretation and Gottschalk-Slade Chair in Jewish Intellectual History at the Cincinnati School of HUC-JIR where he has taught for 14 years. He received his Ph.D. in 2005 from the Department of Jewish Studies at McGill University and is a research fellow affiliated with the University of the Free State, South Africa. He is co-director of HUC Press and the author or editor of four books on subjects including the Dead Sea Scrolls, Rabbinic Literature, and Jewish Interpretation of the Book of Job.
