This session covers a variety of issues on which school leaders have sought advice from Teacher Employment Services. The issues will include matters related to conduct, competency, administration of medication, human rights, confidentiality, privacy, parent interaction and student/teacher boundaries.

The landscape of the statutory regulation of teacher conduct has changed in Alberta. How has it changed? What are my professional obligations? What is the new complaint process? This session will provide an overview of the new Code of Professional Conduct for Alberta teachers and related processes.
