
Michael Snyder, MD MD
Dr. Snyder is passionate about cataract surgery with special interests complex cases. He has pioneered artificial iris prostheses and is actively engaged in clinical research of new implants and devices.
Both his undergraduate and Medical Degree are from University of Michigan (Go Blue!). Dr. Snyder served as Resident and Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at Krieger Eye Institute of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, followed by subspecialty training in cataract, anterior segment & refractive surgery, corneal & external diseases, and ocular immunology at New England Eye Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. His career has thrived at Cincinnati Eye Institute since joining in 1997 and he is a Professor of Ophthalmology at University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Snyder regularly lectures regionally, nationally and internationally and has contributed to innumerable ophthalmology textbooks and scientific journals as an author, editor and reviewer. He has produced several award-winning surgical videos.
