Dr. David Jordan is busy Oculoplastic Surgeon with a University commitment to teaching and research as well as a private practice he also sees cosmetic patients. He completed his Ophthalmology residency in Ottawa and following this did 2 additional fellowship years in the U.S. refining his skills in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has written over 290 peer reviewed scientific articles, 100 additional non-peer reviewed articles, 50 book chapters, and is the author of his own book: Surgical Anatomy of the Ocular Adnexa. Dr Jordan has given over 450 lectures locally, nationally, and internationally. He has taken part in the training of over 100 residents and 15 fellows to date. Dr Jordan is a member of the Canadian, American and European Oculoplastic Surgery Societies as well as a member of the Orbital Society (by invitation only) that has only 25 international active members. His current areas of interest include orbital implants, enucleation/evisceration surgery and soft tissue filler complications. There are no financial disclosures to reveal.
