At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Learn the incidence of NAION following topic clear corneal cataract surgery
  • Discuss the epidemiology of LHON
  • Compare and contrast GCA management between subspecialty and primary care setting and identify if there is room for improvement
  • Compare and contrast the adverse outcomes between patients with pathological diagnosis of GCA versus healing/healed arteritis in an attempt to come close to understanding healing/healed arteritis
