New Literature in Neuro-ophthalmology?

My Session Status

When:
3:45 PM, Sunday 16 Jun 2019 (1 hour 30 minutes)
Where:
Québec City Convention Centre - Room 202 | Salle 202
Theme:
Neuro-ophthalmology
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Assess whether successful medical treatment of IIH correlate with changes of TSS
  • Evaluate initial GCIPL thickness as a predictor for long term structural changes of the optic nerve and as a predictor for visual prognosis in optic neuritis cases
  • Differentiate what Proteome is, how it might be linked to understanding the pathogenesis of symptomatic LHON, and interpret how it might direct potential targets for treatment
  • Compare and contrast octopus visual field testing versus SITA-FAST HVF with regards to monitoring, detecting, and following patients with neurological pathology impacting visual fields

CANMEDS ROLES: Collaborator, Health Advocate, Medical Expert
