Dr. Nigel Rawlings MD, FRCSC
Dr Rawlings is currently an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Saskatchewan. He completed medical school at the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to residency, he was an Ocular Pathology fellow with Dr. Brownstein at the University of Ottawa. He proceeded with his Ophthalmology Residency at Dalhousie University. He then headed west to complete a two year Vitreoretinal Fellowship at the University of Alberta.
Dr Rawlings is the Ophthalmology Residency program director at the University of Saskatchewan. He is a partner at Saskatoon Retina Consultants. He has been a staff physician in the Saskatoon Health Region for the past five years.
Current research interests include OCT angiography, diabetic macular edema and innovative surgical techniques such as sutureless, scleral fixation.
