At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe amblyopia, as well as current treatment options.
- Identify binocular outcomes of non-strabismic ocular treatments such as laser, anti-VEGF injections or the placement of glaucoma valves.
- Use current orthoptic testing methods in novel ways, as well as to differentiate between similar methods in current use.
- Appreciate the impact of strabismus-related prejudice before surgical intervention, and be able to have a greater role in surgical planning with the ophthalmologist.
