Dr. Ike Ahmed, along with a team of forensic ophthalmologist investigators, will come face to face with every surgeon's worst nightmare... the unhappy patient. This forensic team will unveil clues to analyze the causes of poor outcomes in cataract surgery patients, and discuss tools or strategies to prevent these grisly outcomes from occurring in future patients.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this symposium, participants will be able to:
- Describe the thought process involved in finding the cause of poor cataract surgery outcomes
- Determine the cause of poor outcomes in three patients with common complaints after cataract surgery
- Identify how to resolve each case and be equipped with strategies to prevent these outcomes in similar patients in the future
