A technician’s role in research as described through personal experience. An overview of corneal cross linking, intacs and PRK on patients with corneal ectasias such as Keratoconus. Describe the duties and tasks required of an ophthalmic technician to complete a research project including working with the VISZ and iFS lasers, completing pre and post op work ups and assisting in surgery.
