How:

This symposium will highlight a series of ambiguous cases where the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma is being considered. The audience will participate by voting for either the diagnosis or treatment of glaucoma, followed by a discussion among a panel of glaucoma experts. These cases will highlight the critical and complementary role of optic nerve head, retinal nerve fiber layer, ganglion cell analysis, visual fields, optic nerve exam and other clinically relevant information.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Integrate information from clinical assessment, optic nerve photography, imaging and visual fields to make a decision about glaucoma diagnosis and treatment
  • Compare diagnostic and treatment patterns between multiple glaucoma experts
  • Compare their clinical decision making to that of various glaucoma experts
  • Describe pearls in imaging and visual field interpretation
