This session is very unique in that a brief case presentation will be shared, representing an “everyday glaucoma dilemma”, leading to a management dilemma without a definite treatment approach. Two glaucoma experts will discuss opposing approaches, sharing evidence and clinical experience guiding their decision.
LEARNING OBJECTIVESAt the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Compare different view points to common clinical scenarios in glaucoma care
- Assess the scientific evidence to common clinical dilemmas including Drance hemorrhage, normal tension glaucoma, angle closure, ocular surface disease and glaucoma care in the elderly
- Integrate opposing management approaches into their clinical decision making
