- Identify the importance of preoperative cataract measurements using a multifactorial approach.
- Understand the basic steps for B-scan ultrasound. Identify potential sources of error with ultrasound biometry measurements.
- Identify the various steps in visual electrophysiology and explain how these tests are used in clinical practice.
- Understand the basic steps in cataract surgery. Describe the sources of error in the process of IOL calculations.
- Understand how OCT is used to diagnose, assess, and monitor various macular and retinal diseases.
- Identify potential benefits and drawbacks of each IOL and address any concerns about the process.
