Victor Cordero is a model coffee producer from Colombia. He is based in Santa Marta, in the Sierra Nevada coffee region of the country.
Victor is an organic coffee producer and has dedicated over 20 years of his life to improving the social and environmental dynamics of the Santa Marta region. He has been a pioneer in organic farming and has helped grow and develop the community of sustainable agricultural producers.
That's why he co-founded Red Ecolsierra, a cooperative of more than 300 farmers that produces pure organic coffee, focusing on forest conservation. They have also diversified and now produce not only coffee, but also cocoa, and honey.
Victor Cordero has served two terms on the Board of Directors of CLAC, was a member of the Finance & Audit Committee of Fairtrade International and is a member of the Colombian National Fair Trade Platform.
Victor holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the National University - UNAD, and a Diploma in Marketing Specialist from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. He has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting.
