Jenni Leister, a passionate advocate for women's empowerment, channels her dedication into her role at Bunyaad, where she has served since 1993. Married to her co-worker, she finds joy in their shared commitment to the rug-making craft, with their son eagerly joining in the family business. With a diverse range of responsibilities, from flipping rugs to engaging in promotional efforts, Jenni's work extends across 850 artisan families in 100 villages in Pakistan. Her tireless efforts ensure that women artisans earn a living wage, empowering them to care for themselves and their families, a mission close to her heart. And even their poodle contributes as the Director of Stain Resistancy, embodying their commitment to excellence in every aspect of their work!
