Have you ever wondered what the difference between Fairtrade, Fair Trade, and Fairly-Traded is? What about why Fairtrade is important and what it actually means? Fair Trade 101 will answer these questions and more! This presentation will dive into the importance of Fairtrade and the organization of Fairtrade International, as well as the three core concepts of Fairtrade – the Fairtrade standards, the minimum price, and the Fairtrade premium. We will talk about Fairtrade’s role in sustainability and the SDGs before moving on to explore the biggest challenges facing the Fair Trade movement. Finally, we will wrap up by discussing how Fairtrade truly changes the lives of producers in the Global South through a case study.

Fair Trade 101 is your go-to guide for making a positive impact. Join the Fair Trade Ambassadors crew, and let's make the world a fairer place, one conscious choice at a time!
