My name is Somayeh Yavari. Currently, I am a graduate student (second master) at SFU with the supervision of Dr. Bernhard Rabus. Previously I worked as a Postdoc fellow at Memorial University in a contract with C-Core. I have a Phd in Remote Sensing from K.N. Toosi University of Technology, where I received a MSc in Photogrammetry and BSc in Geomatics Engineering. My current focus is on SAR image processing in the field of snow/ice mapping. My experiences include optical satellite image registration and matching and UAV image processing.
