Running July 22-24, 2020 online, GeoIgnite is focused on geospatial—but more than that, GeoIgnite is about going beyond the narrow focus of traditional Canadian geospatial conferences and presenting the future landscape for a deeper understanding of emerging location technologies. This virtual conference will provide participants with updates on the newest technologies, the latest innovations, and the next generation of disruptive geospatial technologies.

GoGeomatics is the largest and most popular communications hub promoting the Canadian geospatial community. The business was incorporated in 2011. GoGeomatics hosts over 100 fun, free, location technology networking events each year in cities across Canada.

GoGeomatics Meetups

The purpose of GoGeomatics Socials is to build a thriving geospatial community through networking opportunities. Socials are held in pubs across Canada to promote an open and casual environment where we can share our enthusiasm for our sector. Our Meetups are always free, and open to people from all areas of the geospatial sector.

There are 14 GoGeomatics Meetup Groups in Canada. The social season runs from September to May each year. We welcome new and returning students to the sector at our annual Back to School socials each year in September.
