Telecommunication Engineering from Polytechnic University of Valencia (2001) and Master in Business Administration and management by EOI Business School. His professional experience covers areas in the field of competitive intelligence and strategy in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), project and area management, innovation policies, Business development and Valorisation. Now, he is the Technology Transfer Director and the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Director in ITI, where is in charge of empowering strategic and business alliances to boost and evolve the R&D&I activity in ITI and the transference of value to the market. 

Daniel is member of the Board of Directors in BDVA and Gaia-X, and member of the Steering Committee of NESSI, at European Level. He is also member of the management board of Planetic since 2007, currently vicepresident and coordinating the Spanish interplatforms group of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. Daniel is the president of the delegate commission of AI4ES, the Spanish excellence network in Data based technology enablers and is the coordinator of the Data Cycle Hub, the Data Innovation Hub to foster data driven and artificial intelligence-based innovation, which is coordinating EuHubs4Data, the European Federation of Big Data Innovation Hubs. Daniel has been recently elected as Board member of the Spanish Gaia-X Association.
