Carmelo Fontana is Senior EMEA Regional Counsel, Google. Carmelo is a technology attorney with over 15 years of experience in the fields of intellectual property, data protection and technology transactions. In January 2011, he joined Google's legal department as a Senior Regional Counsel. Carmelo currently acts as the EMEA regional AI point of contact, and handles the Italian commercial and regulatory practice. Carmelo is a public speaker and university lecturer on innovation policy and technology regulation.
