
Wim Vanobberghen is senior researcher at imec-smit-vub and his interests are end user engagement, living labs and understanding the dynamics of domestication and appropriation of new technologies by users, especially in a smart city context. He applied this interest in several European and national research projects ranging from mobility (ECIM) to food redistribution (SavingFood). He is currently involved in the U4IOT project where he researches societal issues around IoT and adoption barriers from the end user side.
