Claudio Filippi, is head of legal departments at the Italian data protection authority and has long-standing experience in data protection matters, having been with the Italian DPA since 1997. From 2010 to the present he also holds the position of Deputy Secretary General.  He held courses at Roma Tre University (Master di II livello in “data protection officer e privacy expert”). He has authored many scientific papers in particular concerning privacy in the public sector.
