Maggie Keenan-Bolger is the co-founder of Honest Accomplice Theatre, a company dedicated to theatre for social change, specifically through the lens of cis-women and trans people (www.honestaccomplice.org). Productions of The Birds and the Bees: Unabridged and ReconFIGUREd, are currently touring to colleges around the country. Pieces Queering History and Not Just Another Coming Out Story were written with LGBT homeless youth who performed alongside of Broadway performers. The White House recognized her work in the LGBT community when she was appointed an LGBT Leader of the Next Generation by Vice President, Joe Biden. She was also named a “Person to Watch In 2015” in The Advocate. Keenan-Bolger has worked as a teaching artist with organizations such as Urban Stages, The Creative Arts Team and The Leadership Program and is also a sex educator with the "I Love Female Orgasm" program, speaking to thousands of college students across the U.S.
