Christy Ney (Stage Manager) is currently an Assistant Stage Manager on Broadway’s Wicked. Other credits include: (Broadway) Marie Christine, Side Man. (National Tour) The Lion King. (Off-Broadway) Falsettos, Floyd Collins and The World Over. (Regional) three seasons at Paper Mill Playhouse and productions for the New Jersey State Opera and New Jersey Ballet. Christy gets great joy out of teaching, tutoring and mentoring theatre students. She has been a member of the teaching faculty for the New York Film Academy’s Musical Theatre Conservatory and has lectured and taught workshops on technical theatre and Stage Management for Columbia University, Julliard, Emerson College, Ohio State University, The College of New Jersey and many other theatres and schools in the U.S. She is a co-founder and owner of Broadway Basics- Stage Management Workshops and Instruction with colleague Marybeth Abel, a mom of two and an Usborne Books Consultant as well! www.christyney.com www.broadwaybasics.com www.christysbookshop.com
