Stafford Arima is the Artistic Director of Theatre Calgary (theatrecalgary.com). He was nominated for an Olivier Award for his direction of the West End premiere of Ragtime; and in 2015 he became the first Asian Canadian to direct a musical (Allegiance) on Broadway.
