Michael C. Bernardi is deeply honored to have made his Broadway debut last season as Mordcha, Tevye u/s in the musical nearest his heart, Fiddler on the Roof. This has special meaning for Michael as his late father, Herschel Bernardi, portrayed the role of Tevye on Broadway and on national tour for a staggering thousand performances. Furthermore, Michael’s late grandparents, Berel and Helen Bernardi, originated various characters of Sholem Aleichem on the Yiddish stages of Eastern Europe and later in the US.
