Eliza Ohman is currently the Universal Swing in Hamilton: An American Musical and represented by Clear Talent Group. She started dancing when she was 3 and received her training in Denver, Colorado. At 15, she was chosen to be part of Prof. Robert L. Reed’s elite tap company, the St. Louis Hoofers Club. As a Hoofer, she toured nationally and within one year was selected as the company’s Dance Captain. Through that experience she was able to train closely with tap legends Dr. Jimmy Slyde, Dr. Harold Cromer, Dr. Prince Spencer, Miriam Nelson, & many others. After high school she moved to New York where she obtained her BA in Media, Culture, and the Arts from The King’s College while completing the Professional Semester Training Program at Broadway Dance Center. Shortly after graduating, she joined the NY Ensemble of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Shakespeare Theatre Company’s production of Kiss Me, Kate, and The MUNY’s production of 42nd Street. Eliza loves musical theatre, but is equally focused on commercial dance. She can be seen in Wendy Seyb’s award winning film "How You Look At It" as well as on television in shows like "Saturday Night Live." She can also be seen in commercials for Castrol Oil, Macy’s, Reebok, and Target, music videos with Carly Rae Jepsen, The Lonely Island, and Justin Bieber, on stage with LMFAO, on television with Drake, Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Bacon, Melissa McCarthy, and Nick Cannon, and even at New York Fashion Week.
