Participates in 1 Session
Donald Oliver, owner of Chelsea Music, worked on over 130 musicals— mostly on Broadway—first as a copyist then as the music prep supervisor. The three still running are The Phantom of the Opera, Chicago and The Lion King. He composed the score for The Case of the Dead Flamingo Dancer (book and lyrics: Dan Butler), produced in the US and the UK, and collaborated on two songs for the holiday musical revue That Time of the Year. Currently he’s developing and writing the music for In the Name of Love (the lyricists include Sheldon Harnick, David Zippel, David Spencer and Barry Kleinbort).
