Michael has staged the violence and stunts for A Tale of Two Cities on Broadway. His work has been featured regionally at: Yale REP, The Public, The Old Globe, Paper Mill Playhouse, The Atlantic, The Geffen Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera, Westport Country Playhouse, The Long Wharf, Delaware REP, Baltimore CS, The MUNY, and many others. He also has numerous acting credits including rolls in Lincoln Center’s Cymbeline and Broadway’s Superior Donuts. Michael has been a stunt performer on "The Guiding Light," "Banshee," and "Kevin Can Wait." Michael is in his eleventh year as a faculty member at the Yale School of Drama where he teaches Stage Combat and is the Fight Director for the Shakespeare Repertory Projects and Carlotta Festival. He is also in his sixth year as the Stage Combat Supervisor for undergraduate productions at Yale College. He has taught at The New School for Drama and the New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts and guest lectured at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Michael is also the creator and coach of The Actor as Athlete training program; which had its debut last summer with the cast of Troilus and Cressida for The Public Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Park. Next month Michael will guest lecture and Fight Direct The Three Musketeers at Carnegie Mellon University.
