Carrie Mayer is the Theatre Arts Director at Blacksburg High School in Blacksburg, Virginia. She has a great love for Musical Theatre and dance. When not directing, Carrie enjoys being on the stage in the local community theatre group, Summer Musical Enterprise’s, productions. Her favorite roles include Laker Girl (Spamalot), Alma Hix—Pickalittle (The Music Man), Babette (Beauty and the Beast), and the various roles she played in Forbidden Broadway. While it’s hard to pick a favorite, if she had to, her favorite shows she’s directed are Legally Blonde: The Musical, The Little Mermaid, Bad Seed, and Annie Get Your Gun. When not directing, Carrie loves spending time with her husband and two kids, Alexa and Reid.
