Harry Smolin

Harry Smolin is a consultant with the Theatre Development Fund (TDF) working on their Autism Theatre Initiative (ATI) autism-friendly performances. He has worked with eight Broadway shows, some several times, recommending changes to sound, lighting and other effects that will make the performance easier for audience members who have autism. He was a guest speaker with TDF at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability (LEAD) conference in 2015. His work for TDF has been featured in The Atlantic and The New York Times. He is a college student, film studies major, and works as a movie curator and projectionist at a theater that employs and trains people who have disabilities.
