Michael John Warren raised the bar for performance films with the fan favorite “Rent: Film Live On Broadway”. He built upon this success with the enormous hit “Shrek: Live On Broadway”. Days before Hamilton opened on Broadway, Warren filmed selections of the groundbreaking show. These segments traveled far and wide as promotional material and were featured heavily in “Great Performances: Hamilton’s America” on PBS, “The 2016 Tony Awards” and so on. Warren also directed Jay-Z: Fade To Black, Nicki Minaj: My Time Now, Hillsong: Let Hope Rise, Heavy: The Story of Metal, Friday Night Tykes and Netflix’s Fearless.
