LAKES is a grunge-pop band that formed in Brooklyn in 2015 when bf-gf bandmembers Libby Winters and John Gallagher went into a practice room to shred. Their sound combines pretty vocals and emotional lyrics with heavy distorted guitars to create their own 90's throwback style of indie rock. Look for their new EP "J U S T T O F E E L T H E F E E L I N G" in 2017.
