Amanda Watkins serves as the General Manager of Broadway Dreams. She served prior for 8 years as the Executive Vice President of Production and Development at The Araca Group, developing dozens of new musicals and new plays. She was a Producer on Broadway’s Tony Nominated Disgraced, the winner of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama by Ayad Akhtar and was the Executive Producer of the 2010 revival of Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me a Tenor, directed by Stanley Tucci. Other producing credits include Junk, 13, Fault Lines, and Nobody Loves You. Amanda was an actress on Broadway and throughout the regions for 15 years. Her Broadway, National Tour, Regional and Off-Broadway credits include: Grease, Cats, Beauty and the Beast, Urinetown, The Wild Party, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change; Sweet Charity, Cabaret, My Fair Lady, and The Sound of Music. Amanda was awarded a National Touring Best Actress nomination for her performance as Nellie Forbush in South Pacifc and an Outer Critics Circle Award for her performance in Palm Beach, The Screwball Musical, directed by Des McAnuff. She is a member of The Broadway League and the Advisory Board of Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre. In 2004, she was recognized by the State of Ga. House of Representatives with a certificate of excellence in theatre. She holds a BFA in Music Theatre from Florida State
