
Dr. Raye Taylor DVM, cHPV, cHAB
Dr. Taylor hails from a mixed animal veterinary career with work from honeybees, fish, and wildlife to companion exotics, dogs, cats, and horses. Her work with CARE allows her to dive into the needs of rural communities, especially geographically isolated indigenous reservations to increase access to veterinary care. Her educational training is in Zoology, Animal Ecology, Microbiology, Veterinary Medicine, and Leadership. Her passion is teaching and empowerment through knowledge.

Let’s use real world examples of what it looks like when people can’t or don’t get needed medical care for their pets. We will examine cases and generate creative solutions to common barriers faced, then facilitate creative pathways of alternative approaches through REDI. These opportunities help increase awareness of barriers and motivate proactive steps to encourage inclusion of these communities. This results in increased preventive care, animal and human health, and pets staying home.
