Margaret Baguio is the Program Manager for Education and Outreach for the Texas Space Grant Consortium in Austin, Texas. She has worked for over thirty-five years in youth development and education. During that time, Margaret has worked in the public schools, for the Texas Cooperative Extension Service 4-H & Youth Development Program, managed a USDA Science and Literacy project for at-risk youth, and promoted space education to students, teachers and the general public through the Texas Space Grant Consortium with curriculum, professional development, science nights, and career exploration.

Margaret has been recognized for our outstanding leadership and contributions to education. She was the national recipient of the Alan B. Shepard Technology in Education Award in 2016, is a NASA Solar System Ambassador, and is a teacher liaison for the Space Foundation.

She is a member of the American Society for Engineering Education, American Geophysical Union, American Astronomical Society, Science Teacher Association of Texas, Texas Science Education Leadership Association, National Science Teacher Association, Texas Informal Educator Association, and NASA Network of States.
