Roving on Mars 2020 - Utilizing Current Events in Space Exploration to Engage Diverse Learners

How:
Participants will design, build, and test rubber band-powered rovers out of recycled or inexpensive material and discuss ways to use these rovers to build excitement for the upcoming Mars rover launch. Additional rover lessons will be shared to be implemented in a classroom over multiple days. Also, hear from a mechanical engineer currently working in the aerospace industry.
