Arctic
Astronauts "I'm a Scientist!"
Students love learning science with the scientists from the University
of Alaska in Fairbanks, JPL and Goddard
Space Center! We invite you to learn
about climate change that is happening in the Arctic, how to do field research
with young children, teaching students to check data, send data, and why data
matters. Climate is rapidly changing in the Arctic, the future of the children
that live in the Arctic is going to be different. Teaching students about space science, and
climate change prepares them for the new
future they will be living into.
Education in Rural remote areas is highly challenging and just like
living in the International Space Station it is totally AWESOME!
