Freeze dried food, dehydrated meals, barbeque mac-n-cheese, anyone hungry? Indulge in a culinary approach to understanding the science behind feeding the astronauts we send to space. Gain a basic understanding of how they can spend hundreds of days away from Earth's natural producers, how the nutrition and health-safety can be maintained in an environment with limited water and resources, and the advances made from early space travel to future-mission planning in the realm of food. |
