This session will include a background of serving in the military to transitioning into a career in education and applying the history of spaceflight to your classroom. Topics of discussion include: connecting with military and veteran organizations that provide aid to schools and educational groups, educational opportunities for veterans and military families, history of spaceflight and military connection to space exploration, teaching history of spaceflight.
