Mike Kincaid oversees strategic direction and leadership of NASA’s STEM engagement function, which attracts and supports the involvement of students in the realization of NASA’s unique missions. Kincaid’s office engages America’s educators, students and institutions in these unique missions, contributing to NASA’s mission success, as well as the nation’s overall STEM education ecosystem.
Joe Acaba was selected to be an astronaut in 2004. He has logged 306 days in space on three missions. In 2009,
Acaba flew aboard STS-119 to the International Space Station where he conducted two spacewalks. In 2012, Acaba worked as Flight Engineer for Expedition 31/32. Most recently he served as Flight Engineer on the space station for Expedition 53/54.
