Lara Kearney

Deputy Program Manager, Gateway Program Kearney serves as Gateway Deputy Program Manager at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC). She has 27 years of experience building, testing, certifying, and operating human space flight hardware. She has hands-on experience in every phase of the flight hardware process, from hardware proof of concept and preliminary design through certification, production, and flight operations. She previously served as Manager of the Orion Crew and Service Module Office and as the Constellation Extravehicular Activity (EVA) Systems Project Manager. She also served in JSC’s Human Health and Performance and Engineering Directorates. She earned her B.S. and M.E. degrees in biomedical engineering, from Texas A&M University, and her Executive MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School
