Kirstin Bunting

Participates in 1 Session

My name is Kirstin Bunting and I am an elementary school teacher on Florida’s Space Coast by day and a STEM Educator by night! I have a huge passion for teaching, especially for teaching STEM and Space Education. My motto is “Educating and inspiring the Artemis Generation and beyond!”. Throughout my teaching career, I have been involved in summer STEM Camp, where I taught 6th-8th grade students about rockets, rovers, coding, experimental design, and flying drones. Day to day, I support STEM/STEAM education in the elementary school I teach at however I am able while also being a full time Kindergarten teacher. Throughout my time on the Space Coast, I have been given many opportunities to take part in out of this world experiences with Kennedy Space Center such as the final roll out and the launch of Artemis 1, many SpaceX launches, and many behind the scenes tours of KSC. I am looking forward to working with you and your students in the coming months as we explore NASA’s Artemis program on your journey from Oceans to Orbits!
