Irit Bahar, MD,MHA
Prof Irit Bahar is the chief of the Ophthalmology department at Rabin Medical Center, Petach Tiqva, Israel. She is a full clinical professor at the Sackler Faculty of medicine at Tel Aviv University with more than 100 papers published so far, 20 case reports and 3 book chapters. Prof Bahar is involved in many national and international studies in the field of Cornea and external eye diseases.
She completed her fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the Toronto Western Hospital in the years 2006-2008 under the guidance of Prof David Rootman and Prof Allan Slomovic. She has a Masters degree in health administration (MHA) at Ben Gurion University and She serves as the Medical director of Assuta Optic Laser Center in Tel Aviv.
